Diwali is India’s Festival of Lights. It’s an amazing celebration which is considered the high point of India’s festive season. Themes of good vs evil, appreciation of Indian culture, and most importantly,
the experience of giving to friends and family are the hallmarks of this season. Every year,
the festival of Diwali brings with itself joy, fun and sparkle. It’s that beautiful time of the year when we shop, spend great time with friends and family and exchange gifts. However, a said reality is that for lakhs of children in India, Diwali is like any other day when they battle lack of access to healthcare and
I want to build an orphanage for poor destitute children, I am for these poor community children I am for these poor community children want to distribute Want to give clothes, candles, lamps, sweets and gifts please help me for this Please donate to my charity/foundation as much as you wish please help me, education, abuse and exploitation. These are children who live on the fringes of the society. And in the current scenario, the Covid-19 pandemic has only worsened the situation for these children making them even more vulnerable.
These children are looking up to us for urgent support. And what better occasion the wonderful festival of Diwali to lend a helping hand for them. This Diwali, your support to Save the Children can help us reach more deprived and underprivileged children of India and bring them under the ambit of our projects on education, nutrition, protection, healthcare and resilience building. It can give them hope and respite from their lives and motivates them to look forward to a better year.
Let’s provide them with protection, shelter, access to clean water, health care, education and jobs. They need a fair chance.
With your help, you can be the light to turn trauma and the loss of livelihoods into hopes of a brighter, better future.
